Bag fees apply for checked bags (with some exemptions *)
In general, Silver Airways will accept checked baggage with a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23 kg) per bag and a maximum outside dimension of 62 inches (157 cm) per bag in exchange for any applicable service fees (see
). Any bags that exceed these allowable weights and dimensions are subject to additional fees up to a maximum weight of 100 lbs and maximum outside dimensions of 80 inches. The outside dimension of a bag is equal to the width + height + depth of the bag added together.

For a trip that includes one or more connections, bags will be checked to your final destination, and the fee for checking a bag from your origin to your destination will apply. For a trip that includes a voluntary stopover, your bags will be checked to your stopover point, where you will collect your bags. When you resume travel, you may check your bags again, subject to applicable fees from the new point of check-in to the destination.
When paying bag fees online, customers may pay for a maximum of 3 checked bags. If your baggage needs require you to check additional baggage, or baggage that is over the listed size and weight limits, please note the additional costs for overweight and oversize bags as shown in our
Fees for overweight and/or oversize bags cannot be paid online and are collected at airport check-in as are fees for more than 3 bags.
Customers exempt from bag fees:
- first and second checked bags (within weight and size limits) are complimentary when traveling on a SunPac reservation
Military - active duty U.S. military personnel and accompanying dependents, not traveling on official business, get up to 3 complimentary checked bags per person
